Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has 'plenty of suitors' - agent

Fans show their support for Kalidou Koulibaly at the weekend.

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly would have plenty of clubs interested in his services if he chose to leave this summer, according to his agent.

Koulibaly, 24, hit the headlines last week when he was the victim of racial taunting by Lazio fans during a Serie A fixture at the Stadio Olimpico last week.

Referee Massimiliano Irrati halted the game against Lazio for three minutes and 40 seconds before conducting it to its conclusion and Lazio were subsequently punished with a partial stadium closure...

Real Madrid warned of Roma revival under Spalletti by Fabio Capello

The ESPN FC team preview Chelsea vs. PSG and Roma vs. Real Madrid in the UCL round of 16 coming up next week.

Luciano Spalletti's return to Roma means the Italian side should not be underestimated by Real Madrid in the Champions League, according to Fabio Capello.

Spalletti returned to the Stadio Olimpico to take over from Frenchman Rudi Garcia in January and has led the team to wins in their last three games in all competitions.

Los Blancos fans were relatively happy when they drew Roma in the first knock-out round last December, just weeks after the Serie A side were hammered 6-1 at Barcelona in the group...

Massimiliano Allegri 'will' take Chelsea job, Juventus boss' mentor believes

Despite being linked to the Chelsea job, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri expressed his satisfaction in Turin.

Massimiliano Allegri will leave Juventus to become Chelsea's next permanent manager this summer, according to mentor and former coach Giovanni Galeone.

"If I were Allegri, I would even walk there -- and I think he will," Galeone told Radio Radio. "Allegri is certainly among the five best coaches in the world. I think he will leave Juve because the offer from Chelsea is truly fantastic.

Inter left frustrated by draw at bottom-placed Hellas Verona

Napoli took care of Carpi with a 1-0 home win, while Juventus earned a 2-0 win on the road at Frosinone continuing their impressive streak.

Internazionale manager Roberto Mancini will be scratching his head in disbelief after watching his team rescue a draw against bottom club Hellas Verona. The once-solid Inter backline conceded from set pieces, seeing them go 3-1 down at the Stadio Bentegodi. Despite this, Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic spearheaded a credible comeback that enabled their team walk to away from Verona without too many blushes.

The draw will do little for Mancini's men, who cannot seem to win from losing positions this...

Roma grateful to Wojciech Szczesny after win over Sampdoria

Florenzi Roma celeb 160207
Roma are back in contention for the top three in Serie A following Sunday's win over Sampdoria.

Roma moved within touching distance of the Champions League places when they scraped past Sampdoria 2-1 on Sunday, but coach Luciano Spalletti is struggling to do away with some old flaws that he no doubt remembers from his first spell in the Italian capital.

A neat header from Alessandro Florenzi on the stroke of half-time and a superb Diego Perotti volley four minutes after the break put Roma in a commanding position, but despite dominating and creating enough to look like putting four or five...
