Herculez Gomez says "when the cards are down, you cannot bet against Miguel Herrera" versus Monterrey.

A beer company has stepped in to pay Monterrey women's team's bonuses for winning the Liga MX Femenil 2019 Apertura championship last Saturday, after the club only offered a tablet for each of the players.

The Rayadas players had been verbally promised a financial bonus for lifting the title, according to ESPN sources, but were bemused when they found out they'd only receive a tablet.

Rayadas players' including captain and leading goal-scorer Desiree Monsivais posted tablet emojis on Tuesday, with...

Liga MX's Chivas bring back Jose Juan Macias amid roster revamp

Herculez Gomez says "when the cards are down, you cannot bet against Miguel Herrera" versus Monterrey.

Liga MX club Chivas de Guadalajara continue to strengthen ahead of the 2020 Clausura season, with Mexico striker Jose Juan Macias returning to the club and Cristian Calderon signing from Necaxa on Wednesday.

Macias was the highest Mexican goal-scorer in Liga MX in 2019 at loan club Leon and has recently broken into the Mexican national team, scoring four goals in his first five appearances for El Tri.

The 20-year-old worked his way up the Chivas youth system, but was frustrated at a lack of minutes...

Sporting Kansas City signs Mexico international Alan Pulido as Designated Player

Herculez Gomez and Sebastian Salazar discuss MLS's expansion and question whether there are now too many teams.
Steve Nicol believes Whitecaps manager Marc Dos Santos was out of line calling MLS a "Mickey Mouse" league.

Sporting Kansas City has signed Mexico international forward Alan Pulido to a four-year, Designated Player contract, the team announced Tuesday.

The transfer fee for Pulido, 28, is a club record, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, but the previous record, according to data from Transfermarkt.com, was just €1.5 million for Gerso Fernandes prior to the 2017 season. Recent reports had put Pulido's price tag in the $9-10M range. Kansas City had paid a total of $4M in transfer...

After Alan Pulido confirms his departure from Chivas, Herc Gomez assesses where his most likely destination is.

MEXICO CITY -- MLS record-breakers LAFC and Mexican striker Carlos Vela will face a stern CONCACAF Champions League debut, after being drawn against Liga MX's Club Leon in the round of 16.

Leon was the only Mexican side in pot two of the draw, guaranteeing that La Fiera would be facing a team from MLS, with LAFC potentially facing Cruz Azul in the semifinal.

The full draw is Atlanta United against Motagua (Honduras), Club America versus Comunicaciones (Guatemala), Cruz Azul and Portmore United (Jamaica),...
