Liverpool's Sadio Mane sent for shoulder scans - source
Liverpool forward Sadio Mane was taken to hospital for scans on his shoulder, a club source has told ESPN FC.
Mane injured his shoulder in training at Melwood on Wednesday and manager Jurgen Klopp faces an anxious wait as they await the results of the tests.
The Daily Express reports that the Senegalese forward suffered the problem after a collision during the session and left the club's training base escorted by a physio.
The 24-year-old was one of the standout performers in Liverpool's 4-3 victory over Arsenal on Sunday and scored a fine solo goal to cap off an impressive Premier League debut for his new club.
Mane, who scored 11 Premier League goals for Southampton last season, sealed a reported £30 million move to Anfield in June.
