Kyah Simon misses Matildas' Algarve Cup squad with hamstring injury

Melbourne City's Jess Fishlock netted a first-half goal before assisting Jodie Taylor in the second-half to secure their third W-League title in a row.

The Matildas will contest the Algarve Cup without star forward Kyah Simon, who's been ruled out with a hamstring injury sustained in the W-League Grand Final.

Ligue 1 side Guingamp sign Didier Drogba's 17-year-old son, Isaac

Isaac Drogba, left, was a regular at his father's games as a child.

Ligue 1 club Guingamp have confirmed the signing of Isaac Drogba, the son of Chelsea legend Didier.

The 17-year-old, who had been playing in Chelsea's academy, has followed in the footsteps of his father who also moved tothe Stade de Roudourou 16 years ago.

Didier went on to score 24 goals in 50 appearances for Guingamp, and is delighted that his son -- also a striker -- has joined Antoine Kombouare's side.

"Couldn't be more proud of you Isaac Drogba," he wrote on Instagram.
