Man City's Aguero will miss Manchester derby - Guardiola

Ale Moreno says Man City's comeback win over Chelsea kept the door to the Premier League title slightly open.

MANCHESTER, England -- Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said he expects Sergio Aguero to miss "a few games" because of a thigh injury and confirmed the striker will miss the derby with Manchester United.

Aguero limped off during the second half of the 2-1 win over Chelsea on Saturday and scans undertaken on Sunday have confirmed he will need a spell on the sidelines.

It was at this same ground, in January 2017, that he made his full City debut, laying on the first goal of a 3-0 victory in the FA Cup fourth round with a sublime through ball for Raheem Sterling and leaving his new manager Pep Guardiola purring over his aggression, movement and link-up play.
