Carlos Tevez has said he is looking at an offer to play in China.

Boca Juniors striker Carlos Tevez has said he is aware of an offer to play for Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua but has not decided what he will do.

New Shanghai Shenhua coach Gustavo Poyet has said the club are negotiating with Tevez over a deal worth a reported €40 million per season.

Poyet said that signing Tevez for Shanghai Shenhua "would be a pleasure," while president Wu Xiaohui confirmed that talks were in progress and he would like to bring him in "as soon as possible."

Atlanta United completed the signing of Lanus midfielder Miguel Almiron on Monday.

The MLS expansion club will pay a transfer fee of around $8 million to the Argentina club, according to multiple league sources, after initial reports had pegged Almiron's fee as high as $13 million.
