Julien Ngoy scores Walsall winner on debut to down MK Dons

Stoke loanee Julien Ngoy's winner just four minutes into his debut gave Walsall a 1-0 victory that boosted their survival hopes and kept MK Dons firmly in the drop zone.
Substitute Ngoy fired home in the 70th minute to move Walsall four points clear of the relegation places and leave Dons three points from safety.
Walsall had the only chances of a drab first half as Joe Edwards' early 25-yard strike was saved by Lee Nicholls and, late in the half, Erhun Oztumer headed an Edwards cross wide from 12 yards.
Dons improved after the interval and Marcus Tavernier fired inches wide from 20 yards on 53 minutes before Kieran Agard's curler went similarly close six minutes later.
Amadou Bakayoko missed a sitter for Walsall after 62 minutes, skying over from six yards after an Edwards shot was blocked.
But Ngoy put the Saddlers ahead soon after coming on, cutting back in from the by-line before drilling home at Nicholls' near post.
Walsall keeper Liam Roberts made a superb save from Ed Upson's 10-yard strike to preserve the points.
