Jamie McCluskey is added to the Morton squad for the League Cup visit of Berwick.
He comes in but his younger brother Stefan misses out after dislocating his shoulder. Andrew Barrowman is also absent due to a hamstring problem but Sean Crighton is available to play after a ban.
Greenock manager Jim Duffy said: "We progressed in the Petrofac Cup last weekend against Spartans and that is the objective against Berwick as well. I know from facing them when I was with Clyde last season that they are a decent side.
"They have kept hold of that squad and added a couple of other players that has strengthened them, so we are in for a tough afternoon."
Visitng player/manager Colin Cameron is an injury doubt with a pelvic problem but Ross Gray (knee) definitely misses out for Berwick.
Ben Miller is available after holiday commitments with Lee Currie also returning after a ban kept him out of the penalty shoot-out success over Queen's Park last Friday.
Rangers boss Cameron said: "This is a great game for us as we have nothing to lose. Morton are favourites but we have players that can cause them problems and we will have a go.
"We beat Queen's Park because everybody worked hard and we need the same approach to have any chance in this game."
