Albion open with three points
Albion came from behind to beat play-off hopefuls Annan 2-1 on the first day of the Scottish League Two season.
The visitors were awarded a dubious-looking penalty after Ross Dunlop was adjudged to have brought down Steven Logan.
Midfielder David Hopkirk stepped up and made no mistake from 12 yards to hand Annan a 30th-minute lead.
Albion went into the break a goal behind but found themselves ahead in two second-half minutes, Annan defender Steven Black heading into his own net to level matters.
Mick Dunlop then nodded the hosts in front with a bullet header after good work from Gary Phillips.
Black attempted to rectify his earlier mistake with an effort on 79 minutes but it sailed harmlessly over the bar along with Annan's chances of rescuing a result.
