Kieran MacDonald ready for East Fife debut against Stirling Albion
East Fife welcome new signing Kieran MacDonald to the squad to face Stirling after the former Motherwell, Clyde and Hamilton player arrived on a short-term deal.
Player-manager Gary Naysmith, who is without Stevie Campbell (ankle), said: "I am delighted to add Kieran as he gives me a number of options to consider. We won 4-1 at Montrose last weekend but I'm not getting taken in by the final score as Montrose were a lot better than us in the first half.
"We will need a solid 90 minute performance to defeat Stirling."
Albion are without a host of attacking options for the match, with Craig Beattie (hamstring), Phil Johnston, Darren Smith and Salim Kouider-Aissa (all knee) unavailable.
Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan is looking for his side to be more solid at the back following their 2-1 defeat to Queen's Park.
"We failed to deal with their only shot on goal in the second half. We have to learn to stop teams creating chances as even allowing them to get one can hurt you. We did not deserve to lose and hopefully we can use the East Fife game as an opportunity to bounce back."
