Sevilla have bolstered their fragile defence with the loan signing of Marco Andreolli from Inter Milan.

Andreolli, 29, has made only eight Serie A appearances for the Nerazzurri since arriving from Chievo in 2013 but now has an opportunity to play alongside -- or replace -- the likes of Adil Rami and Daniel Carrico at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

A statement published on Sevilla's official website confirmed the Primera Division club possess an option to buy Andreolli, who made his name with Chievo.

Adrian Lopez has joined Villarreal for the upcoming season.

Former Atletico Madrid forward Adrian Lopez has joined Villarreal on a season-long loan from Porto.

The 27-year-old, who won both the Primera Division and Europa League with Atletico, moved to Portugal last summer but failed to make a real impression for the Dragoes, scoring his solitary goal in a 6-0 Champions League victory over BATE Borisov in September.
