Chelsea's Mohamed Salah targeted by Tottenham - sources
Tottenham are considering a move for Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah following his impressive spell on loan at Fiorentina, sources have told ESPN FC.
Salah has been in superb form for Fiorentina since joining the Serie A club on loan during the January transfer window.
The Egypt international has scored four goals in 11 league appearances for Fiorentina and his performances have not gone unnoticed by scouts at White Hart Lane.
Salah is well down the pecking order at Chelsea and made just three Premier League appearances this season for Jose Mourinho's side before being sent out on loan to Fiorentina.
The 22-year-old is unlikely to figure in Mourinho's long-term plans with Juan Cuadrado brought into the club as part of the deal that saw Salah move to Fiorentina, and news of Salah's availability this summer has alerted a number of clubs across Europe.
Fiorentina have expressed an interest in making Salah's loan a permanent deal, but Tottenham are ready to offer the attacker the chance to stay in the Premier League.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bolster his attacking options next season as he looks to build a side capable of challenging for the top four -- and Salah could be tempted by the prospect of swapping West London for North London.
