Domenico Berardi joins Sassuolo after deal agreed with Juventus

Domenico Berardi has sealed a permanent switch to Sassuolo.

Juventus have confirmed that Italy under-21 forward Domenico Berardi has committed his future to Sassuolo.

The two clubs co-owned the 20-year-old striker and had been due to agree on a permanent transfer between them.

It had been widely expected that Berardi would join the Bianconeri -- but he has instead opted for Sassuolo.

A Juventus statement said a €10 million fee had been agreed for the full transfer.

Berardi has scored 42 goals in 103 appearances for the Neroverdi, but never appeared for Serie A champions Juve.
