Gabriel Martinelli returns to Manchester United for second trial

Steve Nicol feels Pogba has the ability to be one of the world's best players, but doesn't agree he's at a Barca level yet.
While transfer speculation swirls around him, Neymar keeps scoring goals, this time against Manchester United in the ICC.

Manchester United academy coaches are taking another look at Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli.

The 16-year-old forward has returned to Carrington as part of an on-going trial from San Paulo-based side Ituano and played for a United youth XI against Lincoln City on Wednesday.

He replaced Nishan Burkhart after an hour at Sincil Bank as United won 2-0 thanks to goals from Brandon Williams and Millen Baars.

United have already bolstered their academy ranks this summer, with 16-year-old Belgian striker Largie Ramazani arriving from Charlton and French midfielder Aliou Badara Traore, also 16, joining from Sarcelles after spending time in Paris Saint-Germain's youth system.

Northern Ireland under-17 captain Ethan Galbraith has also moved to Old Trafford, while Spanish midfielder Arnau Puigmal is set to join from Espanyol.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Theo Richardson, 18, has been handed a permanent deal after leaving Leeds United.
