The draw for the 2020 European Championship finals is on Saturday (watch live on ESPNEWS and ESPN3 from noon ET in the U.S.). There are 20 teams who have secured their place in the draw, with another four spots yet to be decided via playoffs.

Here we look at the contenders, outsiders, wild cards and no-hopers for next summer's continent-spanning tournament, which will be broadcast live across ESPN networks from June 12-July 12.

Danish club Viborg FF allege fraud after signing player who may have never been a professional

Danish club Viborg FF admit that they signed a Dutchman claiming to be a professional footballer without ever seeing him play. Now they have filed a criminal complaint alleging fraud by his agents after his lack of skill became apparent.

Bernio Verhagen, 25, arrived at Viborg in October ostensibly from Chilean side Audax Italiano. However, it is not certain that he ever played for that club, or others that he claimed to.

Melbourne Victory sign Denmark international Poulsen

Denmark international midfielder Jakob Poulsen has joined Melbourne Victory for the upcoming A-League season.

The 36-year-old, who played 35 times for his country, has signed on a one-year deal to continue his career in Australia after last playing for Danish Superliga club Midtjylland.

Poulsen's long professional career has featured stints in the Danish, Dutch and French football leagues, most notably with French Ligue 1 giants Monaco between 2012-14.
