Phil Neville has never worked in the women's game.

Phil Neville has confirmed he wants to be the next manager of England Women.

The former England, Everton and Manchester United player has been in talks with the Football Association about taking on the role.

The FA has been tight-lipped on plans for the permanent successor to Mark Sampson, who was sacked last September.

Phil Neville has held coaching positions at Manchester and Chelsea but is yet to take up a role as manager.

Phil Neville is under consideration for the England women's managerial job, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

PARIS -- Paris Saint-Germain are one of two French women's clubs in talks to sign Chelsea Ladies and England attacker Eniola Aluko, a source has told ESPN FC.

FA chief Martin Glenn: Women less able to handle 'banter' than men

Speaking to a UK parliamentary committee, former England footballer Eni Aluko says that FA chief exec Martin Glenn asked her to write 'a statement saying the FA were not institutionally racist' in order to receive the 2nd part of her financial settlement

Football Association chief executive Martin Glenn has said female footballers are less able to handle "banter" than their male counterparts.

Glenn's comments, which came as the FA announced several initiatives to boost diversity throughout the game, follow on from the controversy surrounding Eni Aluko

England Women put five past Kazakhstan in World Cup qualifier

Melissa Lawley scored her first senior goal and Nikita Parris hit a double as England Women thrashed Kazakhstan Women 5-0 in World Cup qualifying.

Lawley opened the scoring in the 15th minute from the right of the box after being set up by Jill Scott.

Substitute Fran Kirby added the second from the penalty spot after the break before a quickfire Parris brace eased England to victory.

Izzy Christiansen scored the fifth goal after an excellent ball in by Alex Greenwood which was played on by Kirby.
