Former Bundesliga coach Christoph Daum has claimed that the Greek Football Association (HFF) has approached him about becoming a possible successor to Claudio Ranieri as Greece boss.

Ranieri has been put on "a leave of absence" as Greece coach after a humiliating 1-0 loss to minnows Faroe Islands on Friday.
