Worst misses ever? Striker has TWO shockers within seconds of each other

Lesotho forward Tumelo Khutlang's shocking miss vs Tanzania has to be seen to be believed
To miss one open goal is unfortunate, but to miss two just moments apart is... well, just ask Tumelo Khutlang.

Lesotho mustered a narrow win over Tanzania in the qualifying rounds of the Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday, with a single goal from Nkau Lerotholi proving the difference between the two sides.

However, the Crocodiles might have been able to coast to a win with a lot less tension had Tumelo Khutlang converted a golden chance early on.

Rather impressively, Khutlang instead actually managed to squeeze not one, but two atrocious misses into roughly three seconds of utterly chaotic incompetence.

Uganda beat Lesotho to close in on 2019 AFCON

Farouk Miya scored twice to give Uganda a 2-0 win over Lesotho in Tuesday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Maseru.

Miya outpaced the hosts' backline and unleashed a fierce shot to open the scoring in the sixth minute, and then doubled the visitors' tally 29 minutes late with a free kick.

The win takes Uganda up to top spot in Group on 10 points, five ahead of second-placed Tanzania following their 2-0 victory over Cape Verde earlier on Tuesday.

The islanders, in third on four points, are two...

Sebsatien Desabre refutes talk of pressure despite winless streak

Uganda head coach Sebastien Desabre insists he never felt under any pressure to win his first competitive game as Cranes coach despite his slow start to life at the helm.

The Frenchman had gone four competitive games without a win after taking the national team job at the end of 2017, with his only victory coming in a 3-1 competitive triumph against Sao Tome e Principe in March.

The Cranes were also held in an international friendly by Malawi, and defeated by Niger in June, but Desabre has told...

Desabre's tactical reshuffle pays dividends for Uganda

Sebastien Desabre believes that his tactical reshuffle of Uganda's Cranes was central to their 3-0 Africa Cup of Nations victory over Lesotho on Saturday.

The East Africans had previously been winless in competitive games under the Frenchman, who was appointed in December 2017, but ended that run in some style at the Mandela National Stadium.

Desabre opted to tweak his attacking unit after a lethargic display at home against Tanzania last month, and Uganda were noticeably more vibrant going forward.

Lesotho coach vows revenge on Uganda

Lesotho may have been defeated by Uganda in Saturday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, but coach Moses Maliehe is confident that his side can make amends in the return leg.

Emmanuel Okwi's double and a goal from Farouk Miya saw the Cranes to a comfortable 3-0 victory over the previously undefeated Lesotho at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

The win was coach Sebastien Desabre's first competitive victory as Uganda boss, but Maliehe has warned the Frenchman that his side will look to avenge...
