Paraguay already 'winning' against Brazil, Argentina-Venezuela too close to call

Make way for the real stuff: The phony war of the Copa America group phase is over.

Of the 12 sides, just four go home. Guests Japan and Qatar can make the long journey feeling relatively good about themselves. Japan came with a very young, inexperienced squad and produced some flair. Messi ensures Argentina live to fight another day

ESPN FC's Craig Burley says the effects of losing with Argentina have taken their toll on Lionel Messi's confidence.

On Saturday, there will be none of the kinds of hardships Almiron faced at his first club. The 24-year-old will step out to represent Atlanta United...

New Paraguay coach Juan Carlos Osorio not waiting to put his stamp on national team

During his time in charge of the Paraguayan national team, Gerardo Martino said that to carry out the job it was necessary to be a competent travel agent. Paraguay's players are strewn all over the globe. The coach not only has to follow their progress in many different leagues. He also has to make sure the logistics are in place to bring them all together.

New Paraguay coach Juan Carlos Osorio is doubtlessly making the same discovery. On Tuesday he called up his first squad for the next FIFA dates....
