Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel is on the verge of a move to Fenerbahce, sources have told ESPN FC.

Fenerbahce have tabled an offer of €7 million (£5.5m) for the defender and Liverpool have accepted the bid with Skrtel well down the pecking order in Jurgen Klopp's plans.

Skrtel, 31, only started four games for Liverpool after January following an injury picked up in a defeat to Watford in December.

And the centre-back found himself behind Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho in Klopp's plans...
