Samuel Eto'o celebrates after scoring a goal for Antalyaspor.
Samuel Eto'o is in his second season with Turkish side Antalyaspor.

Samuel Eto'o has opened the door to a potential move to Marseille, but has said his wife will have the final say.

Eto'o, 35, is currently with Turkish club Antalyaspor, the 11th senior club of his 19-year career that has also seen him ply his trade in Spain, Italy, England and Russia.

The former Cameroon international told TF1 he could be tempted to join Frank McCourt's ambitious project at Marseille, if Mrs. Eto'o agrees.

However, the winger has turned over a new leaf this season under the stewardship...

Istanbul Basaksehir take Turkish football by storm without many fans

Istanbul Basaksehir
Istanbul Basaksehir have the best attacking and defensive record in Turkish domestic football this season.

There is a general consensus that a solid and passionate fanbase is very important for a team to succeed. Supporters are supposed to provide players with motivation and push them forward. That is not entirely true, however, as Turkish Super Lig side Istanbul Basaksehir have been proving for a while.

On Friday, unbeaten Basaksehir came from behind to win 2-1 at Galatasaray and stay top of the table with their eighth win in 10 matches. They possess the best attacking record in the Super Lig (24 goals...
