Czech Republic international Josef Sural was killed after a minibus carrying players from Turkish top tier club Aytemiz Alanyaspor crashed while returning from an away match, the club confirmed on Monday.

Sural died at the hospital where he and six of his teammates were taken after the crash, the club said on Twitter.

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has reported his loan club, Besiktas, to FIFA having allegedly not received wages dating back four months.

A football player of the Kurdish Amedspor club in Turkey's third-tier league has been banned for life for attacking opposition players, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) said on Thursday.

The Turkish Football Federation has charged four players after a footballer was accused of injuring other players with a "sharp object" during a third-tier game in southeastern Turkey.
