Low's new Germany comes at a price

Euro 2016 round of 16: Germany vs. Slovakia as it happened

Germany are yet to concede a goal at Euro 2016 but they have only scored three times in three games, a record they will hope to improve on when they face Slovakia in the round of 16 -- Lille (6 p.m. CET/12 p.m. ET, ESPN).

Germany 3-0 Slovakia - FULL TIME

GAME REVIEW: Slovakia limp out of Euro 2016 as the game was pretty much done as soon as Boateng found the net after seven minutes. Very easy for the World Champions and they're still yet to concede a goal. Draxler was outstanding, Gomez fits into their system nicely and their overall play is superb. I have a feeling they're going to be very, very hard to beat in this competition.

90+1 MIN: Last minute save by Kozacik as Kroos hits a bullet-like shot right into the keeper. Very nearly had their fourth goal!

89 MIN: Outstanding performance by this man today.

88 MIN: Germany playing keep-ball still and this game is done and dusted for sure. Slovakia have almost given up pressing the ball all together. Hector's had a cross go across the face of the goal, but apart from that little else significant has gone on.

86 MIN: Ozil drills the corner into the box but it's cleared by Slovakia.

85 MIN: Muller still wants to get on the scoresheet as he's still full of energy. Combines with Podolski on the edge of the box but the pair can only manager a corner for now ...

83 MIN: Slovakia sub: Gyomber off, Salata on.

81 MIN: Gomez nearly has Germany's fourth as Ozil feeds him through the Slovakian defense, but a stretching Skrtel just manages to clamor the ball back and out of their danger zone.

79 MIN: Keep ball still for the Germans at the minute -- pass, pass, pass.

77 MIN: Slovakia are well and truly limping out of this game now. They seem to have given up all ambition of a comeback. There position as a third place side is really come to light as there's a massive ability gap between them and Germany.

74 MIN: Yep, the Manchester United man's coming on for Khedira.

The Germans are still camping in the Slovakian half, that brief spell of around five minutes when their opponents broke free of their own territory seems to now be a distant memory.

73 MIN: Looks like Schweinsteiger's coming on for Germany -- he's just receiving some instructions from the backroom staff. What a player to have on the bench in situations like; abundance of experience to see the game out and very good at keeping the ball.

72 MIN: Germany forced to defend for a split moment but Hummels forces the ball out of play down their left flank.

70 MIN: Slovakia still struggling to force any decent attacking chances, and are forced to continue shooting from range. Couple of German subs in the meantime, Podolski and Howedes on, Boateng and Draxler are off.

67 MIN: Hamsik pops another shot off from the subsequent free kick, but it's just off target again. The Slovakian star is feeding off scraps here.

66 MIN: Yellow card for Hummels who's fouled Skriniar. Bizarre yellow card, the German ace wins all of the ball!

63 MIN: And on that note they go and concede the third! Corner comes in, Hummels wins the header and Draxler's unmarked at the back post. Volleys it home!

62 MIN: Slightly better showing by Slovakia in this second half, they seem more adventurous on the ball and prepared to play a bit of football.

60 MIN: Some more fantastic footwork from Draxler helps to navigate him away from the two Slovakian defenders. However, it's still slow and patient build up play from Germany as they look to open the way for a third which'll surely kill the game.

58 MIN: And it goes over. Poor effort. Goal kick from Germany.

57 MIN: Draxler fouls Skriniar and Hamsik has another shooting chance from the setpiece.

55 MIN: Draxler dinks the ball in for a teammate to run on to, but Skrtel gets there first and heads it away.

54 MIN: Slovakia earn a free kick and Hamsik shoots, but it's off target and over.

52 MIN: Same old routine for Germany at the moment. They're having all the ball and are being left to their own devices. They can't quite muster another goal yet, but you can just tell one's coming.

48 MIN: And they nearly had more than just possession, they nearly had a goal! Skriniar shoots from range but it's caught by Neuer. The German shotstopper made that look easy but it was a ferocious shot.

47 MIN: Kroos shoots from range but it's blocked and Slovakia have possession.

46 MIN: Slovakia have kicked us off and Kimmich has already been shown a yellow card for obstructing Hamsik.

GAME REVIEW: Germany are doing everything right and have had chances to go even further ahead. On the other hand, Slovakia have been poor. They're struggling to even get out of their own half still. They did have a brief moment of attacking brilliance in the 40th minute thanks to the solid work of Hamsik, but apart from that, they've not done a lot infront of goal.

45+1 MIN: Only the one minute of added time, and it's featured a lot of Boateng and Hummels passing between eachother. Slovakia need a change of emphasis at half time, they have 45 minutes to save their tournament.

44 MIN: More possession from Germany here, and we look like we're heading into the half time changing rooms locked in at 2-0.

Superb feet from Draxler who fools the Slovakian fullback. The German midfielder reaches the byline before delivering the inch perfect cross to the feet of Gomez at the near post who slots it home for their second of that game.

40 MIN: WHAT A SAVE BY NEUER! Hamsik tricks his way past Kroos before offloading to Pekarik down the right. He floats the ball in and Hamsik's back in the box to head that goalwards. But Neuer's there to save it!

39 MIN: Slovakia free kick floats towards the box but it can't get past the first man and Germany head that clear.

38 MIN: Slovakia have had 110 passes to Germany's 234.

36 MIN: Draxler tries to navigate into some space in the box, and he does so well, but his eventual shot is blocked and then caught by the keeper.

34 MIN: Germany still peppering the Slovakia box, similar to how they did against Northern Ireland. Brief stoppage as both Muller and Skrtel are down for a clash of heads.

32 MIN: Muller shoots over the bar from outside the box!

31 MIN: Slovakia finally manage to escape their half again and this time they're pushing down the left flank. However, Weiss' just been penalised for a foul and it's reasonable to assume we're destined for the Slovakian half again any moment now ...

28 MIN: And the Bayern man's back again but this times it's with an over-the-bar headed attempt.

27 MIN: Muller's curling shot along the floor is saved by Slovakia's shotstopper. Still all one way traffic here in Lille.

24 MIN: GLORIOUS CHANCE! Gomez wins the header and nods it down to Ozil on the edge of the area. He shoots, but it goes just wide!

23 MIN: Slovakia slowly but surely are making their way out of their own half. The Germans seemed to have taken their foot off the gas slightly.

20 MIN: Slovakia's back four already look knackered by the look of their facial expressions. Khedira's making them work now having just forced the corner.

19 MIN: Slovakia finally get some attacking luck as Hrosovsky sprays it wide to Weiss. The latter round's his man inside the penalty area but his final pass into the box is woeful and Hummels clears it.

18 MIN: Germany continuing to overload the Slovakia penalty area. The latest attempt is cleared as Boateng's long ball to Gomez is headed away.

16 MIN: Toni Kroos has just attempted a Boateng as he volleys first time towards goal, but it's just wide.

14 MIN: That penalty save should give Slovakia that bit of momentum and push in the right direction after the early setback. Gomez has just had a shot blocked just inside the Slovakian area.

Ozil's pushed in the back by Skrtel as the ball's whipped into the box. Penalty rightly given!

10 MIN: And still, we're watching Germany batter away at the Slovakian box. A second is coming, surely. Germany looking to finish this game before it's even really begun!

Corner comes in and it's a routine clearance for Slovakia at the near post. However, the looping header falls to Boateng who's on the edge of the penalty area who volleys it first time. Superb technique!

6 MIN: Germany free kick is bent by Kroos. Khedira rises the highest and Kozacik tips his header just over the bar for the corner!

5 MIN: Slow and patient from the Germans here as they continue looking for that way through. Slovakia holding tight, for now ...

3 MIN: And still it's Germany who are looking to score first. They're peppering the Slovakian box with crosses in from all angles, but they're still waiting for one to fall to their main man up top Gomez.

1 MIN: We're underway here in Lille and it's been a steady opening minute, with Germany already building their first attack. Kimmich looks to navigate his way through to the byline down the right flank, but he's ushered out by Gyömber and it's Slovakia's throw in.

16.54 BST: Skrtel leads out Slovakia, Neuer leads out Germany. Anthem time!

16.51 BST: The teams are now emerging in the tunnel and we're not far off from kick off. Slovakia have a big task of toppling the World Cup winners.

16.45 BST: Both sides have positive memories of this stadium. Germany beats Ukraine here in Lille and Slovakia enjoyed victory over Russia too.

16.37 BST: That being said, Slovakia are a threat and do have a couple of decent attacking outlets in Hamsik and Weiss that Germany will, and should, be wary of. Slovakia did beat Germany in a friendly in May let's not forget.

16.30 BST: Germany are unchanged from their Northern Ireland victory. They're likely to be up against a similar -- albeit slightly more talented -- park-the-bus type side in Slovakia today.

Germany XI: Neuer; Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Hector; Khedira, Kroos; Müller, Özil, Draxler; Gomez.

Slovakia XI: Kozacik, Pekarik, Skrtel, Durica, Gyomber, Kucka, Hrosovsky, Skriniar, Hamsik, Weiss, Duris
