Luis Suarez is set to dispute his first international tournament since the 2014 World Cup.

Luis Suarez and Diego Godin headline Uruguay's preliminary squad list for the Copa America this summer in the United States.

The Barcelona forward is available to participate in his first international tournament since receiving a suspension for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Suarez has been in sensational form this season, leading La Liga's pichichi race while scoring 53 goals in 49 games over all competitions.

Captain Godin, while currently out with a hamstring injury, has been the backbone of a sturdy Atletico Madrid defence that has allowed only 16 La Liga goals all season.

Joining him on the list is fellow Atleti centre-back Jose Gimenez and Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani.

Here is Uruguay's preliminary 35-man squad:

Goalkeepers: Martin Campana (Independiente), Gaston Guruceaga (Penarol), Rodrigo Munoz (Libertad), Fernando Muslera (Galatasaray), Martin Silva (Vasco da Gama)

Midfielders: Mathias Corujo (Universidad de Chile), Giorgian De Arrascaeta (Cruzeiro), Alvaro Gonzalez (Atlas), Diego Laxalt (Genoa), Nicolas Lodeiro (Boca Juniors), Brian Lozano (America), Camilo Mayada (River Plate), Nahitan Nandez (Penarol), Guzman Pereira (Universidad de Chile), Gaston Ramirez (Middlesbrough), Egidio Arevalo Rios (Atlas), Cristian Rodriguez (Independiente), Carlos Sanchez (Monterrey), Matias Vecino (Fiorentina)

Forwards: Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain), Abel Hernandez (Hull City), Diego Rolan (Bordeaux), Michael Santos (River Plate), Cristhian Stuani (Middlesbrough), Luis Suarez (Barcelona)
